0 A.D. Open Source RTS Continues Progressing Towards Next Alpha

A new development report is available for the open source RTS game 0 A.D. and it looks very promising, lots of work going into the next alpha folks!

Here's a breakdown for you:
  • Scythetwirler has joined the team after working on the multiplayer lobby.
  • Translations have begun!
  • New horses models.

  • New map to be included called "Savanna River".
  • The Ptolomaic Egyptians now have a fishing boat.
  • Lots of general functionality fixes, including improved formations code
  • An improved summary screen showing better after-battle stats
  • Town Bell function, ring it to alert your citizens of an attack to keep them safe
  • A better lobby login UI

This will be the first game my sister shall play when I finally get her to switch to Linux.

if they only could fix the multiplayer lag, the game would be finished in my eyes :) loving it.
