Awesomenauts Major Update And Another On The Way For Linux

For those not entirely up to date on their Awesomenauts, this month it received a whopper of an update and it might be time you gave it another go, especially with another major update looming.

The update I am talking about first is the "Secrets of Space" 2.3 update which added:
  • New character - Penny
  • New Character skins
  • New in-game song
  • Masses of new graphical effects
  • A ton of balance changes to characters

They also have "The Eye of the Storm" 2.4 update to come as well which they are teasing us with right now. It looks like another new recruit will join up "Sentry X58".

I can't wait to see what else is cooking for the 2.4 update and look forward to testing out all the new effects and changes from 2.3.

There is also the Starstorm DLC currently in Early Access which adds a ton of features, some of which you would have thought would be updates to the main game like spectator mode.

How much time have you lost to Awesomenauts?

You can see all the patch notes here.

You can buy it on Steam for Linux right now.

The players who have bought the DLC(which is just new characters and a new map), can use them while playing with everyone else who have not bought it so the latter can partake in the joys being ganked by the op nauts from said DLC.

As for the main game, it is highly addicting(I have lost about 500 hours myself, despite everything).
