Is there any stopping GOG right now? They are really heating up the Linux releases recently, and I am sure our DRM free loving fans will snap at these.

Duke Nukem 1 & 2 have joined GOG's ranks, so thanks to DOSBox you can enjoy the originals together in one purchase. Don't mistake them for the 3D first person shooters, these are the original platformers that started it all folks.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a fantastic looking (and still retro with DOSBox) point and click horror. The storyline sounds insane too " The last people on Earth are buried deep within the center of the earth, trapped in the bowels of an insane computer for the past hundred and nine years.".

Incredipede also deserves a minor mention, it's the flash version available on GOG, but you can get it for free from the developers website directly. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Quick bit of trivia for those not in the know but the voice of A.M. is performed by the original author of the short story and that is none other than Harlan Ellison himself :)

Sweet, I've been meaning to play I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. It will have to wait, though, as I just scooped up Dragon Wars. Also, maybe soon we'll get Shadow of Mordor (I'm jumping straight into that the moment it releases)? Please? There are only a few weeks of spring left.

For those who only know Duke Nukem from the FPS games, do not let that put you off, because these are still some of the nicest action platformer games ever made. Even the original despite having only PC speakers sounds still plays surprisingly solid, and the second might just have the best music tracks of the era.
