Writing in a blog post on it's Desura page the developer behind Frozen Nightmare has stated the next version 1.3 will have Linux support!The developer states hopefully by Saturday/Sunday 1.3 will be out:

UI wil be polished so your eyes dont have to handle something ugly but rather nice and beatifull.
G R A D U A L R E N D E R system, this will increase your frame rate by atleast the double, believe me playing the game at 40 fps will make everything look and feel better.
a more detailed map that does not feel that empty

I am sure that if it does get on Steam eventually you could talk the developer into getting Desura to supply purchasers with Steam keys. Desura plays nice that way. Quote me |

yes the game will give steam a shot, but that will happen when we get a bigger audience, by the way the linux 32 and 64 version of the game is out! if you buy the linux 32 you will also download the 64 bits required files Quote me |
