Good news cash strapped gamers! Games Republic has a bunch of Linux games on sale, and some of them are a complete steal.

To stop the usual question: Yes this is a legitimate store, it's owned by 11bit studios who created This War of Mine and the Anomaly series. They work directly with publishers.

Note: We get some pennies from sales on our "linux" store.

Some choice picks for you:
This War of Mine 75% off
AI War Collection 80% off
Tropico 5 Complete Collection 25% off
Stellaris 15% off (pre-order)

There's a ton more on sale, so check out the store: https://linux.gamesrepublic.com/ Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

This War of Mine is fantastic. Anyone who hasn't played it yet should pick it up.

100% agree. I happen to have a spare key for it, so if anyone need it just leave a msg.
I have 5.3 hrs on record and did not manage to get into the game. Maybe because I don't like negative emotions while watching movies or playing games (too much sadness / sickness around in family / friends families).
But does the game change over the time? Or is it always about stealing stuff from innocent people and main characters feel guilty about it all the time?

Is this a legit website? I just spent 40 minutes trying to buy AI War and gave up. Its not working in Firefox or Chromium with Paypal (2 factor auth) or credit card (payment_method_nonce does not contain a valid payment instrument type). What a bad experience that was.

Yes, it is. I have emailed your comment to their team to get it looked into.

Sorry to hear about problems with using our website. Probably we're pointed out what's not working in your case - both Chrome and Firefox is blocking PayPal Express pop-ups, to unlock it, you just got to:

Unlock the pop-up in adress bar.

And about credit card payment method - probably your trying to pay via credit card that's not supported (we're supporting VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover Network and JCB).

Please let me know if it works for you.

Thanks for the response. I put a ticket (1151) in yesterday with more details.

I get the secure paypal popup, but it says my username or password is incorrect. I can, however, log in to paypal.com directly using that username password...along with a 2 factor auth code I receive by text message. Your secure popup never takes me to the 2FA stuff after the password.

The CC I was using is an American Express card. This morning I got 8 emails from gamesrepublic telling me my order is under review. I hope I don't get 8 charges on my card!

Hey I see https://linux.gamesrepublic.com/ seems to be changing...cool.

I think I just accidentally social engineered open my own paypal account...they only asked me for my name.

Anyways, just got off the phone with paypal. After going up 2 levels their engineer deactivated 2FA and then had me complete the purchase and re-enable 2FA. She blamed it on the website and said I'll probably have to disable 2FA every time I buy from here.
