Monster RPG 2 major new version 2.0 is out!

Monster RPG 2 the now open source RPG game reminiscent of early Final Fantasy games has just hit its 2.0 release!

There are masses of changes, far too many to list here but here are a few interesting/important ones!

  • Improved auto-save behaviour
  • Touched up a lot of sprites
  • Higher res font
  • Much faster 3D scenes
  • Can now control mini games with mouse only
  • Screensaver will no longer activate when the game is running on Linux

I have yet to do a proper play through of this one, looks like it could be pretty fun though, especially great now it's open source!

Ah, that explains it.
Well it is and isn't a shame. It helps GOL put better articles on the front page, for one.
Plus it's not like there's any critique about Liam's or your sense of aesthetics when it comes to literacy or the relevance of any article (as opposed to some people on Reddit) :)

But yeah, a more discrete, "official" way to file such things could be pretty cool. Definitely. :)

Never considered PERSONAL messages to be an "error reporting" system (quite a few websites I check regularly have one of those), but if that solution suits you, prepare to be spammed. ;)
