That's good to know. :)

Since they're going the Baldur's Gate route of adding the expansions into the main game, I'm currently waiting for that to come out, so that I can play it all in one go. I had started on playing and got about 30h in (which isn't that far), but then I ran into a bug with the Stronghold and decided to wait for a bugfix. Then the first part of the expansion got announced.

I am going to wait with my playthrough, too. I started the game, but put it on hold a few hours in. Like you I want to play it all in one go. Tbh, I prefer expansions as add-ons, not add-ins. Other than that it sounds exciting!

I am also in that camp. I played a bit of it, but due to issues I had with the AI I waited, they added the AI bits in from what I remember, but now more content is coming...I can wait.

Yeah, I'll buy this and part one early in the new year. I've clocked 116 hours in the game, I've upgraded the stronghold to the max and sweeped through every location and minor quest I could find, but strangely enough I haven't played it to the end.

As I recall, it was a week long trip that interrupted me before I could reach the end and I've put off resuming gameplay for a long time. With this double-expansion it seem like I (inadvertently) made the right choice to put the game on hold.

I haven't started the game yet, way too many RPG's to play and I make sure to explore every corner of the game so finishing 1 game takes some time but, Am I ready to return to the White March? Yes Obsidian, I'm ready to splurge my money all over your expansion and future games :-)

This bloody epic game gets more content! but as previous posters has stated... now i don't feel like completing my run. aaaa what the hell, i will prolly replay it several times anyways :) love the game, great port/linux build. i have had zero issues with it, and it has been running smother than on windows eventhough it seems it runs via a wrapper.

Quoting: pr4vusi have had zero issues with it, and it has been running smother than on windows eventhough it seems it runs via a wrapper.
Not really. It's a Unity3D game so there's the mono runtime but it does not wrap Windows binaries of any sort.
