Sounds awesome, we will finally have a real AAA quality racing game on Linux.

QuoteFurthermore, Project CARS will also be coming to Valve’s Steam OS, extending an existing partnership with Steam that has already allowed tens of thousands of WMD members the ability to download and play builds of the game during its development and allow specific multiplayer and social features that are only possible using this unique platform.

Are you f*cking kidding me??....I've never thought, that this game will come to Linux. Little bit sad, that almost every one is it calling "steamos" but nah.... very good news. Thanks Valve and developers :)

Well it won't be available outside of Steam, they are specifically targeting the SteamOS Linux runtimes...I think saying SteamOS version is fair?

Of course, it was just little of my "fanboyism" :) . I am really glad and thankful to Valve and Developers taking risks with "new" technologies.

I am amazed. I honestly didn't think they'd bring this. I wonder if this will help push our graphics drivers even further! (Looking at you AMD, Nvidia and Intel)

Every week seems to be even cooler news for Linux gaming :D

Well yeah, they are targeting Steamos only. Valve could have called their distro SteamLinux or even better, SteamGnuLinux, but it wouldn't have sounded as good. As long as they keep mentionning that it actually is Linux in official places, I'm ok with that.

Nice! I hope this game have realistic physics like Forza 3 or 4, or at least near it.

Well, i already said, that was just little piece of my " linuxfanboy's" heart, I didn't mean to be disrespectful... it would just sound better to me if they have annouced linux version for upcoming SteamOs :)... it's pity, i know and as i said,  I am glad and thankful to all developers and Valve. All these news about supporting linux and games are just amazing and I keep buying all of them as long as I have money, because this is what we all wanted for years.

I saw some pictures and this game is awesome! What really intrigues me is the fact that some people still don´t see the benefits of Steam to Linux gaming and how Valve helped to improve graphic drivers, now we have one more developer supporting Linux with an AAA title, the more the better!

Wow... definitely a top of the wishlist title

Scratch that, this one can immediately bypass the wishlist and go straight to the library!
