I was instantly interested in RUINER (warning: their website is quite image and gif heavy, stalls my Chrome) when I saw the style of the game! It's a shooter set in a world inspired by cyberpunk anime.

They don't have too many details on the game right now, but they will be showing it properly at PAX in a few days time. I imagine they will have a proper video of the game then up too.

Their announcement lists Linux directly:
QuoteAfter more than a year of quietly making RUINER, we're ready to share a big announcement - Reikon Games is joining forces with Devolver Digital to bring RUINER to the world on PC, Mac, and Linux!

They have a bunch of screenshots available, and it looks pretty great:

Can't wait to find out more about it and see a proper video! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

That looks awesome. Hopefully the story and gameplay are as good as the visuals.

Yeah, it reminds me of Transistor. I wonder if it is a real-time action game or turn-based action game?
I'm not a big fan of turn-based fighting.

Looks promising indeed, and Devolver Digitial are OK with DRM-free releases. And developers were working on Witcher games before! http://ruinergame.com/presskit/

QuoteThe studio was founded in December 2014 by four seasoned game creators: Jakub Styliński, Maciej Mach, Magdalena Tomkowicz, Marek Roefler and Benedykt Szneider who joined as Creative Director for the game. First idea of RUINER was born in May 2014. In September 2014 first concepts emerged. Since January 2015 we're working full time in our studio.

We've worked on titles such as The Witcher 1 through 3, Dead Island or Dying Light. We cooperate with equally experienced professionals whose work you can see also in games such as This War of Mine, Anomaly, Shadow Warrior, Sniper, Hard Reset or Cyberpunk 2077.

Definitely looking forward for this game.

Sure worth it though, they have some crazy good artists. The artwork is just amazing.

Looking forward to seeing more about the game. I hope the gameplay and story do the visuals justice.

Time Ruiner: The Game? Does Straub get a cut?

But seriously, looks nice. I'm rarely into shooters, but if it's got a nice story and a balanced difficulty curve to go with the pretty visuals, I'm in.

Looks interesting, I ll keep an eye on it :)

Also the website runs super smooth on Vivaldi, which is based on chromium. So it is weird that it stalls your chrome.

I love the cyberpunk genre so i'm instantly more interested. I added it to the GOG wishlist. Hopefully they consider a DRM free version.
