Syndrome is a pretty fancy looking survival horror, the trailer has my interest, but will it actually be any good? It's quite easy to do horror poorly, so I hope they know what they are doing.

It's due out in "Q2 2016", so sometime next year then according to the press release.

Features
Claustrophobic horror―Countless threats, both physical and psychological, await inside the ship.
Fight or flee―Use weapons and ammo wisely, as they are in limited supply.
Eerie exploration―there’s plenty to discover if you take a moment to search your surroundings.
Nothing is what it seems―It’s up to you to find out what’s really going on aboard the ship.
Reactive enemies―Cause a stir or make some noise and they’ll pick up on your location.

My problem is that the last game from the developer "Camel 101" was pretty terrible, but it was a completely different genre. I will keep an eye on this one. The environments and lighting certainly look good, and horror games tend to scare the crap out of me, so it could be a winner.

Oh, it's also looking to get on Steam, so give it a vote if you like the look of it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

looks pretty good, the game could use some anti-aliassing for sure though
