Nightside is one of my current favourites on Steam, and not just because it's a traditional RTS game, but because it just looks so damn cool.

See the video I did on it before below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKeOnkwG4Q4

It has received two updates since I last wrote about it, and these include:
- New map
- New faction abilities
- UI work, things not needed get hidden
- More camera zoom
- A more challenging AI (woo!)
- Lots more

The game is in Early Access right now, so there's lots being added each week, and it will eventually have a full campaign and online multiplayer too.

I did a little testing earlier, and on their new massive map the performance on Ultra settings is still perfect for me. The UI hiding parts when not needed is also very welcome, and stops it feeling cluttered.

Be sure to check out Nightside on Steam, and tell me you don't love it, I dare you. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Great game! I'm playing it since your last article about it. It reminds me an old style RTS with very new design! Thanks!

I am waiting this one until a bit later stage in early access, like when the first parts of the campaign can be played. But I am certainly looking fowrward to this game.
