If you had tried playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown [Steam] (not to be confused with XCOM 2) on radeonsi and had it crash constantly, the good news is that this should now be fixed as of Mesa 13.0.3.

I imagine most people have moved onto XCOM 2 by now, but it's still nice to see that older ports now work properly on the open source AMD graphics driver. As always, this is good news!

You can see the now resolved bug report here. You can also see the commit here that fixed it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I do hope they make XCOM3 terror from the depth where its the winning scenario from XCOM1.

The Aliens had a awful lot going on underwater and I know XCOM2 hinted at terror from the depth in its ending, so perhaps XCOM3 will be a continuation, but hopefully we'll get some sort of expanded base building. (multiple bases would be nice).

I kinda prefer XCOM:EW over XCOM2, as I've had way~ too many instances of getting utterly screwed by the RNG (the Avatar project jumping ahead by 3 points while I'm just trying to get some extra supplies, for instance).
