The Oculus Rift DK1 virtual reality device is no longer worked on as it has been succeded by the DK2, so what better way to continue life in the DK1 than to open source bits of it?

Even though we still haven't gotten the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition the developer has noted on twitter that Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition is already in testing for Linux, and it's promising.

Wine development team was able to produce a new experimental release today. 1.7.27 bringing many new features and as many as 22 bugfixes.

Techland's Chrome Engine 6 will support Linux, but it seems they don't yet have enough faith in Linux as a gaming platform after we spoke to them again.
