POSTAL 2 from Running With Scissors just had a big upgrade for the 20th anniversary and there's lots of improvements to this classic violent first-person adventure.
Good news for Postal fans, as RWS has finally released the Paradise Lost DLC for Linux gamers. This DLC adds a lot of content to the game.
Postal 2's Linux version has been lagging behind the Windows build for a long time, but no more. RunningWithScissors took the port in-house, and it's now updated.
I'm a bit late on actually covering this, but any fans of Postal 2 will know that the Linux version is rather far behind Windows in terms of updates due to how busy Icculus is, so RunningWithScissors has taken it in-house.
Sadly the big updates for Postal 2 for Linux may be a long way behind the Windows updates as Ryan "Icculus" Gordon their usual porter has now passed on their work. So, they need a new developer to help out it seems.
While Linux, Mac, and non-Steam players are still waiting for the arrival of the already released free updates to Running With Scissors flagship title, the Tucson based developers are already working on their next project, one which promises to revitalize the already eleven year old game in new and surprising ways.
Developer Running With Scissors has committed to an initial release of the new Postal 2 expansion content on December 13, 2013, but unfortunately Linux, Mac, and DRM free players will have to wait a little bit longer before receiving the updates.
