The great looking Unvanquished has once again pushed out a major alpha bump to the game bringing it that step closer to a more stable and feature filled game.

The excellent and frustrating Crypt of the Necrodancer comes to Steam Early Access on the 30th of July, and comes complete with a Linux version.

Darkwood is a dark survival game that blends a few different types of games together, and originally Linux was a delayed release, but they actually delayed their own release so that Linux is now a day 1 release. They have now finally given an Early Access release date with a fancy interactive trailer.

Epic Games are starting to become real champions for us with porting Unreal Engine and bringing the new Unreal Tournament to us, but now they are also sponsoring the Blender project with funds too.

The latest and greatest OpenMW has been released which pushed the engine even further to allow us Linux gamers to play the excellent Morrowind natively.

Ground Pounders is the next game from the developers behind the Sword of the Stars series, and promises some heated turn based action. It's now out of Early Access and is fully available for Linux.

OBS Studio is a rewrite of the OBS recording and live streaming software that is currently in the early stages, but it's already very useful. It's a popular bit of kit a lot of Windows gamers use to stream their games and the rewrite OBS Studio works on Linux.
