It seems like we are getting quite a few old gems nowadays, although this is most likely using Dosbox it's still nice to be able to have sales for it counted for Linux.

Today I took a look at Insanity's Blade a game Kickstarted at the end of last year. Insanity's Blade is a real retro-game in the sense that it feels like I'm playing on a Sega Megadrive.

Starsector previously known as Spacefarer is a game I have been following since early 2011 and I am glad to say it's still being fully worked on. Starsector is an open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration and economic game.

This is a long named game, "Because this is literally the best we could come up with: Retribution" hah nice. It's a very pretty looking arcade shooter and quite random (you can fire cheese!).

Editors Pick Project Zomboid is one of the few survival games that actually shows a lot of promise, not only because of the frequent updates, but it now has online support too. This latest version adds even more new features.

Contested Space is one of the more interesting titles to appear recently, I've played around with it and it's actually pretty fun, especially fun is designing your own ships.
