In a move that will shock many, Mojang has finally confirmed the rumours. Microsoft is buying them out, and so Minecraft & Scrolls will be owned by Microsoft.

Even though it seemed likely from a developer tweeting a screenshot of Terraria on Linux there was never an official confirmation. Until now that is! The developers are now confident enough to confirm it.
