The newest Humble Bundle is live and this time around features quite a few Linux d├ębuts. Currently there's a total of 8 games in the bundle with more to come.

The DRM free publisher has entered into a partnership with ┬ęDisney to add 20+ classic titles from the back catalogue of now defunct publisher LucasArts Entertainment Company. The first batch of six games were added today. Two of which are available for Linux.

Aspyr Media has detailed in a new blog post their progress on the Mac & Linux Civilization: Beyond Earth ports. The good news is that it's fully playable, but performance is an issue due to the new game using Directx 11 as opposed to their previous port using Directx 9.

After collecting more than twice of their goal on Kickstarter in 2012, the retro action platformer was released for Windows in September last year but is now available for Linux for the first time in an open beta on Steam.
