Steam Has Greenlit Plenty More Linux Games

By - | Views: 12,024
Today Steam has greenlit 50 more games, there are a few good ones that have Linux support too here is my stand-out list.

My stand-out list:
Crio-Dead:Memory
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=DO3iv5Ou0qE
An interesting looking shooter with a non-linear story and time-travel...sounds like a blast!

Livalink

Livalink is a survival based FPS game I have personally tested and it's pretty decent. It has decent graphics and fun game-play not to be missed. I hope this gives the developer incentive to add online play too.

My Lands

An interesting looking free 2 play strategy game, sporting some nice graphics and since it is free we lose nothing by trying it.

Vendetta Online
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WdxRAUb2BSI
A long-time Linux supported massively multiplayer space combat and trading game, really great to see it get greenlit and I expect the player count to rise quickly!

Plenty of fantastic looking Linux games in the list, they are just my personal favourites and the ones I will play first.

You can view the full list here.

Fun Note: Crawl took 1 day to get greenlit, is that a record? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Most of the games this time do have a Linux port, and most of those who doesn't - already have a "Will there be a Linux port" topic on their Steam forums ;)

Sadly Vendetta is not a good game. I've played it a few months years ago and it has not getting better since then. The UI is a Horror, the game sounds are terrible and the graphics are not up2date.

Project Temporality looks like Braid in 3D. Great selection of games. Can't wait!
