Tropico 5 is highly anticipated for Linux gamers and one I have been personally waiting for.

It will officially release on the 19th of September for us Linux gamers!

I can't wait to face off against Linux dictators in Tropico and pretend to be cooperative while building my weapons of mass destruction.

It has a 75/100 metacritic score, so it looks like it's doing pretty well too!

The confirmation comes from their official facebook page (English confirmation below this one):
QuoteNun ist die Katze aus dem Sack: TROPICO 5 Mac- und SteamOS-Version erscheint am 19. September auf Steam und auch im Mac AppStore. ‪#‎Tropico5‬ ‪#‎Mac‬ ‪#‎SteamOS‬

There's also the World of Tropico facebook which states it too:
QuoteTropico 5 Mac and SteamOS version will be released on September, 19!

Loyal citizens and lovers of Tropico! The Tropican Department of Information has an important message from your beloved ruler El Presidente - Tropico 5 will be released for Mac & Linux on the 19th of September via Steam and the Mac App Store. In just a few weeks, Mac/Linux players can also visit the island paradise of Tropico, where the people don’t even have to think for themselves and the burden of voting is kindly relieved by the government. Get yourself a job in Tropico’s booming llama industry, admire quaint historical landmarks such as the Cold War era military base and relax on the beach with Tropico’s own take on the Manhattan – which contains absolutely no alcohol. The Mac/Linux version of Tropico 5 includes cross-platform multiplayer via SteamPlay, Full Controller and Big Picture Mode support. Plus, if you’ve already bought Tropico 5 for PC, then you can download the Mac/Linux edition for absolutely free via Steam cross-buy!

Take on the role of El Presidente in Tropico 5 for Mac & Linux this September and found your own city, build a powerful dynasty and rule across the eras. Or prove your dictator skills/team work (delete where applicable) in competitive and co-operative multiplayer. Tropico 5 for Mac & Linux will be available to purchase on the 19th of September via Steam and the Mac App Store.

I've gone from being "skeptical" to downright "cynical" when I hear that a company is planning to bring linux support to a game "some time soon". But this is enough to get me pretty excited. Definitely a must-buy.
