Looks like Divinity: Original Sin will finally see the promised Linux version with the Enhanced Edition due on October 27th.

Delay, after delay it's been a bit of a long haul to see Divinity on Linux, but if our source is correct, all editions will see a release on October 27th. Larian previously stated the Linux version of the Enhanced Edition would see a day-1 Linux release, so let's hope they keep to their word. I won't be very amused if it is delayed again, as that would pretty much take the biscuit after all the delays.

I remember last topic regarding Divinity: Original Sin here, when I was called an idiot when I said that I hope this studio will fail. What I really meant, was that I really hate when someone promises that will deliver something, makes crowd funding, and then do not delivers it. From my point of view it is cheating and it is very uncool to take people money, create a product and for minority give money back (without any additional interest). From my point of view if someone does it intentionally, then it is similar crime as tax fraud. Other companies that makes games have to take credit if they want to fund the game.

So if Lariam do not deliver Linux version and will not even comment it, from my perspective they will be treated like cheaters.
But I hope I am totally wrong and they will deliver very good Linux game and all of us will be happy. But I am pretty sure that they will cheat us once again. Once again I hope I'm wrong.
