ZOTAC Have A Trailer To Show Off Their NEN Steam Machine

I know it's an advert, but sometimes adverts really are quite nice. ZOTAC now seems to be stepping up their SteamOS Steam Machine hype with a trailer for their NEN unit.

It's really, really great to see some more advertising come out for Steam Machines. The only problem with this trailer, is that it shows a bunch of featured games at one point that aren't on SteamOS. That's actually a bit misleading even with the disclaimer (why show them at all!), but hey, the more advertising SteamOS gets the better it will be for us.

Pretty decent internals for this box too, quite surprising really for such a small unit.

You can see their full official page on it here. It also bugs me a bit that their SteamOS section side picture shows games that aren't on SteamOS. It also makes me laugh that it states "*internet connection may be required.", may be required? More like is required folks. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Quoting: sarmadWait a second. GTX 960 or GTX 960m? The difference between the two is day and night. Can anyone confirm it really is the desktop GPU inside that tiny box?

It's not gonna be a 960m, as that one doesn't appear to have HDMI2.0 support while Zotac claim their box does.
Quoting: tuubiA tiny console-sized but powerful PC is and has always been expensive. It's cheaper to build a gaming rig yourself. Duh.

Also, this. I've been finding all the SteamMachines expensive, but I find little added value in the small form-factor or the fact that it's already put together.

Quoting: magzuI have a feeling they have something to hide untill closer to the release day 10th which suprisingly is fallout 4's release day. could be a coincidence but who knows maybe they are hiding it untill release to suprise everyone :D it sure would make my day!

Yeah, keep dreaming pal.

Well like Keizgon said something is going on in the background thus is why they had to take off the video or maybe just hold it back. could be a suprise or could be some other things like false advertisement or something. who knows.. time will tell the truth anyways (10th november for that matter)

It even powers on via the controller (I'm sure someone around here was complaining that, that feature was missing from Steam Machines):
