I'm not going to apologise for many XCOM 2 articles, I am excited, deal with it. XCOM 2 can now be pre-loaded ready to play on release day.

The even better news (for me) is it will be available to play at 11PM GMT tomorrow the 4th.

About XCOM 2 (Official)
XCOM 2 is the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the 2012 award-winning strategy game of the year.

Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces. XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now, in XCOM 2, the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.

Only those who live at the edges of the world have a margin of freedom. Here, a force gathers once again to stand up for humanity. Always on the run, and facing impossible odds, the remnant XCOM forces must find a way to ignite a global resistance, and eliminate the alien threat once and for all. Nice. I'm going to start pre-loading this as soon as I get home from work.

I was going to try and wait, but I like Feral and I liked Xcom's, so I went for the digital deluxe as I am a sucker for customization.

Not sure how much time I will have to play though with so many good games now on Linux, but I will try lol.

And yes, still want more!

Quoting: BeamboomWow - I totally expected to have to wait a while for the Linux version. This is remarkably cool.
It was announced as a day 1 Linux release from the beginning.
