Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to be 64bit, so if you're still stuck in the past it's seriously time to upgrade. Valve say this fixes numerous long standing random crashes.

It seems the new update has introduced a host of new problems, with people reporting reduced performance in general, framerate drops they didn't have before and more.

I tested a round myself earlier and the framerate does fluctuate rather a lot.

If you do have issues, be sure to report them on github. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

this is the worse update ever...
before i could play the game at 60 and more fps, no i've continuous drop to 20fps (and below), a lot of stuttering and freeze with audio loop.

i hope that they will fix soon the performance problem, is not possibble play in this way

This update for me is odd...

Starting and the options screen is choppy. Connecting to a game is equally choppy.
But one in-game it is a lot smoother. The overlay is equally smooth.
