I am super excited for The Dwarves [Official Site, Steam, GOG]! Tyranny has got me in the mood for more RPG games again and it looks stunning. The combat looks excellent too and this new trailer shows off some of the characters.

It will release on December 1st, and it should be a day-1 Linux release so get your wallets ready!

The game is being developed by KING Art, the studio behind 'The Book of Unwritten Tales'.

About the game
The Dwarves is a fantasy role-playing game with a strong story and tactically challenging real-time battles. 15 playable heroes, each with individual skills, are to be deployed cleverly. Take on superior numbers of orcs, ogres, älfs, bögnilim, zombies, dark mages and many more foes, to give them the low-down.

Based on the bestselling novel “The Dwarves” by Markus Heitz you’ll experience a fascinating tale revolving around the coolest fantasy race ever: The Dwarves! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Is this a real RPG with actual choices and consequences, or is it an action game with stats?
