Dungeon League, a chaotic action-RPG has released with Linux support

By - | Views: 5,931

Dungeon League is a vibrant and chaotic action-RPG that aims to take dungeon crawling out of the dark and into a crazy party game.

Dungeon League takes everything that is awesome about dungeon crawling and spews it out as ten minutes of chaotic, multiplayer, party-game action. Up to four All Stars take to the randomised dungeon to battle each other and hordes of enemies in a series of fast and competitive events. Enjoy the rapid progression of character growth as heroes gain new powers, snatch powerful items, and slay every monster in sight, all in order to come out on top as the champion of the Dungeon League.

Featuring multiple modes including a free for all hero versus hero mode with 12 different heroes to choose from, each with their own playstyle. There's online multiplayer, a co-op PvE mode, a Daily Dungeon to attempt and more. It does look pretty good, take a look:

Seems like a pretty good spin on the usual action-RPG types, as is often the case with indie games the online population is practically non-existent so it might be better in local play.

You can grab it from Humble Store and Steam.

I'm not a huge fan of party games, but this looks like fun.

Of course it means also taking my steam controller out of the box... Most games I play are easier with just keyboard and mouse.

weird, looks like this game was in stasis for two years to wake up and get released.

anybody tried it?

I just noticed, it seems the price went up on release day...

According to IsThereAnyDeal it appears that it was 9.99 before release and 14.99 after.

Still, I'll probably pick it up, but more likely wait for a sale now.
