What are you clicking on this weekend? Come tell us

It's the weekend and hopefully some of you will find the time to relax and play some games. There's been a lot of new releases lately too!

For me, I'm a little torn.

The new Stoneshard update is really good, filled full of new content to play through and a lot of new weapons to try out. The brutal combat and setting certainly takes getting used to, along with the health system. I've lost count on the amount of times I've died in it over the last few days.

I also want to play a whole lot more Burning Knight simply because it's so incredibly fun to blast through. So much insane action when you manage to build up a list of items. Just look at how ridiculous it can be!

You know what? I'm clicking Play on Burning Knight as soon as this goes up…

Over to you: what will you be clicking on across this weekend and into next week? Let us know in the comments and suggest some good picks for your fellow GOL reader.

I finally completed The Witcher 3 main story after 120hours; so now time for another game before I return to the witchery world for the expansions!

Quoting: FaalhaasLately I have been sucked into the YUR community. Closing the fitness center due to corona was a big enabler, but now I am becoming addicted. What YUR stuff can you actually do in Linux (besides Beat Saber and Discord)?
Atm only Beat Saber, Synth Riders and OhShape have the YUR integration. Beat Saber through a mod for YUR, but Synth Riders and OhShape have this YUR.watch thing integrated. Those are the ones that I'm aware of, and do work on Linux.

I finished Black Mesa after I begun before Christmas. Fabulous game, some tweaks I had to apply in interloper, though.

Hollow knight: discovered 100% of the world but there is still lots to do because I just have the Awoken dream nail.

Hollow knight is soooo good. Best Metroidvania ever!

And when I say ever, means: ever!, because I played Vampire Killer on MSX2 that was published approx at the same time than 1st Castlevania but less linear:

"While Vampire Killer shares the same premise, soundtrack, characters and locations as the original Castlevania, the structure of the game and its play mechanics differ significantly from its NES counterpart. Like Castlevania, Vampire Killer consists of 18 stages, with a boss encounter at the end of every third stage. But in contrast to the linear level designs in Castlevania, Vampire Killer features more labyrinth-like stages, requiring the player to not only seek out the exit to the next stage, but also the skeleton key required to unlock it."

Damn, I didn't even know what you were talking about until I googled it. So it's a workout program for VR games? Does it work on Linux, and if so, how?
YUR is the biggest VR fitness community. They use Discord to communitate (which runs natively on Linux). Now I am participating three times a week ( Synth Riders, Audica, Audio Trip ). Several games have intregrated their watch.

Despite many games getting platinum or gold on ProtonDB, I was having trouble starting some. So every time I participate I switch to Windows, which is starting to annoy me for obvious reasons. :)

Maybe you'll have better luck. :D
