Parkitect from Texel Raptor is celebrating a sixth anniversary, with a big new update out now and news of a fresh DLC coming.

Version 1.11 brings a custom campaign editor, in addition to the scenario editor. This means you can create and play through entire custom campaigns with Steam Workshop and mod.io support. A community member put up a big Realms of Adventure - Campaign for you to play with that has 20 scenarios and is featured in their update video below:

The developers also announced a new content DLC is in progress and should be released "in a few months". If you missed it, Texel Raptor also announced their next game Croakwood earlier this year.

Parkitect has Native Linux support and Valve rated it Steam Deck Playable.

I played it when it was first released. Very charming theme park builder.
I loved playing Theme Park on dos, but going back to it is not so good. The charm of the game holds up, but the business sim aspects are goddamn awful and do not hold up nicely.

Any Theme Park fans played this and can recommend it?

I played some and really enjoyed it - it's only the having to sit at my desktop to play it rather than curling up with my Deck that means that I haven't played more. It's "Theme Park but better and more modern" in the same way that Two Point Hospital is "Theme Hospital but better and more modern."
