On top of showing off Kingdom Hearts 4, Square Enix also gave us a release date for DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World as it arrives December 3rd. Monster catching fans are definitely eating good lately and this does look quite wonderful.

"First revealed during SQUARE ENIX’s Dragon Quest Day celebration last month, DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World will head to Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S and PC via Steam and Windows on Dec. 3, 2026. The newest addition to the DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS series, DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World features a robust collection of more than 500 new and fan-favorite monsters, evolved graphics and an engaging narrative that follows dual protagonists Bianca and Nera as they embark on a journey to bring the world of Witherwood back to life. No experience with past DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS games is needed to dive into this monstrously fun new adventure."
