Stop what you're doing and check out Drop Loot, which takes the basic idea of Tetris block-dropping and mashes it into a cool dungeon crawler. There's a playtest that should instantly accept you in on Steam, and you can also try it directly in the browser on the itch.io page.
Announced originally late last month - here's a little more about it: In Drop Loot, players drop pairs of loot onto a board crawling with monsters, matching swords and bombs beside enemies to deal damage, or firing bows and explosive spells across the battlefield. Hearts heal, shields absorb incoming attacks, and coins fund runs deeper into the dungeon. Larger weapon clusters hit harder, gold-tinted attacks land double-damage critical hits, and every drop can finish a monster, keep a player alive, or set up a devastating chain reaction against an incoming wave of enemies.

- Drop. Match. Chain. Explode. - Drop pairs of loot onto a board crawling with monsters. Match swords and bombs beside enemies to deal damage, or fire bows and explosive spells across the board. Match hearts to heal, shields to absorb incoming attacks, and coins to fund your build.
- Stack It Until It Breaks - Spend gold in shops on dozens of stackable powers and run-changing upgrades. Stack the right effects together and your strategy becomes an engine that feeds match into match until the entire board clears itself.
- The Dungeon Hits Back - Enemies bring their health, attack damage, and armor directly onto the board. Armor absorbs hits, crowded boards limit your options, and bosses come armed with signature attacks that force you to rethink your build.
- Make a Beautiful Mess - Every character, item, enemy, and boss is brought to life with chunky, hand-drawn pixel art and animation, backed by a reactive particle system that turns every fight into a fireworks show.
One of the neatest indie discoveries I've randomly come across recently that went right into my wishlist. It's just a little too easy to end up spending hours in it. Very slick style to it too, love all the pixel explosions and the overall atmosphere is great.
