Quoting: hardpenguinThis is the best deal for Killing Floor 3 yet 🧐 But TBH I don't care for all those other gamesRemnant is absolutely excellent, and its sequel is even better. They're both slightly unusual shooters in that they have a slightly Dark Souls feel about them. No real death-penalty as such, but the actual fighting/shooting requires that you use your brain quite a lot. You can only carry two weapons, and they need to be sufficiently different such that you can deal with different situations - swarmed by lots of small enemies, or deal big burst damage to a single tanky enemy. Also long-range vs short-range.
And I love that each playthrough is slightly randomised so that certain environments will appear in different orders, and in some cases, some locations are swapped out for others so each "world" feels fresh. Great for multiplayer too. Even the weapons are random and you won't necessary get offered them all - I found an AK47-style rifle in my mate's world that I'd never seen before, through multiple runs in my single-player worlds!
