Hollow Home is a narrative survival RPG set in a city under siege. Inspired by the real-world war in Ukraine. Developed by Twigames, a studio based in Kyiv, Ukraine, this takes some of their own real-world experience into it.
In the game you'll take on the role of Maksym, a teenager surviving the earliest days of a city under siege. With no combat system, the game centres entirely on dialogue, choice, and the everyday work of survival - managing Maksym's Resolve as the city around him changes day by day.

They just recently completed a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to bring it to life, with it being successfully funded. Not a big amount though, at $21,033 - hopefully enough to get it over the finishing line.
- Choice-driven storytelling: Every decision you make shapes the fate of the characters and the world around you.
- A city that changes: The city evolves based on your actions and real historical events. New dangers and opportunities appear, and entire districts can become inaccessible.
- Resource Management: Craft, cook, scavenge, and keep Maksym’s morale up to survive.
- Skill Development: Upgrade Maksym’s abilities to unlock new ways to solve quests and overcome obstacles.
- Multiple Endings: Your choices determine the fate of Maksym and those around him.
- Inspired by real events: Made by a team based in Kyiv, built from real lived experiences of the war.
From the press release sent to GamingOnLinux:
"We are so grateful to everyone who backed Hollow Home and helped us get here. Knowing that players around the world want to experience this story means everything to us. We cannot wait to bring the game to Xbox and PC later this year and finally let everyone play it in full."
