Ready for a little off-roading with friends? Funselektor and Strelka Games revealed that over the hill will arrive on October 14th.
In the press release sent to GamingOnLinux they noted the demo saw over 500,000 players take to the trails together, and the game now sits at over 1,200,000 wishlists on Steam, making it one of the most anticipated indie games of the year. According to SteamDB it's 21st on the list on most wishlisted - quite impressive for a smaller team.

Explore, navigate, and uncover a vast wilderness in over the hill, the newest game from the creator of art of rally. Pick a ride inspired by classic 4x4 overlanders from 1960-1980s and ramble your way through biomes based on real-world locations.
- Go Off the Beaten Path
Take to the trails solo or with up to three friends. Cruise scenic landscapes, tackle challenging off-road routes, and work together to overcome obstacles using planks, winches, and other equipment. Plan carefully or improvise on the spot. - A World Worth Discovering
Explore forests, lakesides, and mountains while uncovering remote cabins, scenic viewpoints, natural landmarks, meteorites, and portals to new areas. Watch for dynamic weather and day/night cycles that can transform the environment and your journey. - Capture the Moment
Spot native wildlife and use the in-game camera to fill your compendium, or capture awe-inspiring landscapes and make your own memorable moments. - Make Your Vehicle Your Own
Find upgrades and equipment in the world, then stop at merchants and cabins to customize your vehicle with colours, accessories, and cosmetics to match your driving style. - It's About the Journey
Take your time and find your own way. The best stories never start at the end.
Are you looking forward to this one? I do hope it is much better optimized compared with the demo. That was about my only complaint with it.
Quoting: PhlebiacThese developers used to make native Linux versions; seems like doing that again might help performance? They've already said that they "aren't planning to" do a Linux build and that a Mac build is "on their list" (despite Mac being a much smaller market than Linux).
Quoting: CatKillerMac on Steam is a much smaller market than Linux. But I wouldn't be surprised if they also see substantial game sales on the Apple walled garden store. So I don't think we really know what size of market Mac really is.Quoting: PhlebiacThese developers used to make native Linux versions; seems like doing that again might help performance? They've already said that they "aren't planning to" do a Linux build and that a Mac build is "on their list" (despite Mac being a much smaller market than Linux).

So I don't think we really know what size of market Mac really is.Fair, although they were specifically talking on Steam about their Steam game. But, yeah, sales on Apple Arcade might be a thing that's significant for them.
Edit: so far I've only been able to find that non-Steam Mac revenue varies wildly. Some high profile games have flopped horribly, and some games have done disproportionately well. So ๐คท
