The Loopler is a roguelite deckbuilder about a slot car driving in mesmerizing loops

You love a good numbers-go-up dopamine hit right? How about with a slot car driving in loops while you power it up with game-changing cards. Yes, another one about chasing scores. Balatro really lit a fire under this genre didn't it? We're seeing all sorts of games now based around that idea, with indie developers taking whatever they can to turn it into something different.

How it works - you pick cards, place down special gates and collect charms as the slot car races around the loop. There's a lot of game-changing card to help you create powerful synergies and lots of different effects to help you jackpot that score. Thanks to you placing down gates on the track to pass through, you can end up with some insane chain reactions.

The developer recently announced it's going to release on September 11th.

There's a demo* available, just tried it out. Once you get a hang of what works well together and what doesn't, it can be fun and relaxing. Not quite sure what's there to do beyond that.

*) I'd like to emphasise how great it is that the number of games with a demo available seems to have skyrocketed in the last few years or so. Don't know if that's just me, but I really like it. Prevents me from regretting some purchases while also getting me in touch with games I otherwise wouldn't have bothered with.
