Hytale is set for a huge content expansion with Chapter 1 arriving October 12th, bringing the first hand-crafted dungeon and a multi-phase boss fight.

Right now there's plenty you can do in Hytale but it's very much a sandbox open world, Chapter 1 will be the start of the developers building out the main adventure experience.

In addition to the big dungeon - Chapter 1 also brings the goblin faction, the Goblin Breach world event, goblin gadgets, the new Rune Abilities system, more music tracks, more sound effects, improved world generation, various upgrades to the built-in mod browser, and absolutely loads more you can see across various pre-release blog posts.

I'm really excited for this - especially since it has full Native Linux support. This could end up being one of the best mixtures of RPG open world sandbox games available for Linux. They've had a great start to it that's for sure with lots of sales.

I really have to start looking into hytale, but I have flashbacks of the time I spent on minecraft back in the days, and it holds me back :D
