Legacy Code is one of the more quirky games to enter the GamingOnLinux inbox recently, where you build up a mechanical creature in a action-physics sim.
They're called "Mechanimals", built up by combining all kinds of objects. Anything can be combined together to create something truly ridiculous looking as you Frankenstein together heads, arms, and legs with motors, doll heads, character merchandise, electric fans, televisions, 3D puzzles, dentures, chains…and whatever else the developer decides to put into the game.
Just because you can use any part, doesn't mean you should though. Depending on what you've stuck together - the end result can be a bit unpredictable to the point that it has been surprising the developer what can happen.
And then there's the battles - with you facing off against various abnormal beings and then collect their parts when you destroy them to become even more weird and wonderful.

From the press release: "We tried our best to create Mechanimals that would break the physics engine, but somehow, every combination of parts led to a living creature," said Yasuta, Programmer at Room127. "Creativity truly knows no bounds in Legacy Code."
It will release sometime in 2027.
Where do they mention about unpredictable? I'm feeling like that could be good for comedy 😁
