METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION announced for Steam

SNK recently announced the METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION which will come to Steam sometime in 2027. They have not yet revealed a price or a clearer date on when it will arrive.

A bunch are already available standalone on Steam - but this will give a nice deal with them all together in one easy to grab package. From the press release:

"METAL SLUG ULTIMATE COLLECTION features more than front-line action. Compete for high scores with players from around the world via online rankings, or take a trip down memory lane with an extensive gallery/museum mode containing logos, visual materials, and other fun content related to each title!

This definitive compilation will appeal to beginners and battle-hardened veterans alike. Quality-of-life improvements like quick save, quick load, and rewind (which lets you run the action back a few seconds) help tailor the compilation to modern playstyles, while extra modes such as score attack and time attack ensure extensive replayability beyond the main campaigns. Complete newcomers can familiarize themselves with Metal Slug’s trademark charm in Combat School Mode, a beloved series staple that teaches basic controls and techniques while easing you into battle.

Available features, modes, and content vary by title."
