Adapted from Liu Cixin's The Wandering Earth, Studio Surgical Scalpels and publisher Starry Dome revealed The Wandering Earth: The Last Full Moon. They said not only is it based on it, Liu Cixin is also supervising the production too.

You may know it from the original 2000 novel, or from the two movies based on it. Either way, it should be interesting to see another massive space sci-fi idea come to life in a different form.

More about it - "Within several centuries, the Sun will undergo a helium flash and destroy Earth. In response, humanity launches the Wandering Earth Project. Spanning 2,500 years, the plan calls for the construction of more than ten thousand planetary engines to carry Earth toward humanity’s new home. The 'Stop Cycle Era' marks the first phase of the Wandering Earth Project. Humanity uses planetary engines to gradually halt Earth’s rotation and adjust its orientation, preparing the planet to break away from its original orbit."
