Ubisoft expanded "Creative House 2" (now called Massive Entertainment) and will be responsible for The Division, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and March of Giants.
Announced on the official website they said the teams will be bringing together their creative and technology expertise to build the future games.
“Massive Entertainment has always been defined by passion, ambition and incredible talent, and our focus now is on what comes next,” said Christoph Hartmann, General Manager of Massive Entertainment. “Bringing our teams together under one identity gives us the opportunity to combine the creative energy and expertise across Montréal, Paris, Sweden and Toronto to shape the next generation of these iconic franchises, create new games and IPs, and push our craft and technology forward.”
March of Giants being their new IP, which they actually acquired from Amazon late in 2025. It's an upcoming free-to-play 4v4 War MOBA where you play as a Giant, leading an army of soldiers while deploying tactical structures known as "Battleworks" on a ravaged urban battlefield. Sounds like an RTS version of Dota 2 almost.
Since it will be a multiplayer title, we don't know the status of anti-cheat yet, but we'll be sure to list that status on our dedicated anti-cheat page when we know it.
Yeah just don't make them do the network code! The Division has horrible netcode especially 2nd game.
Are MOBAS still that popular? Give me anything similar to the past IPs these teams have worked on, but I am not thrilled by their latest IP.
Wait and see I guess.
