The Wine 11.19 release is now available for this open source Windows compatibility layer, bringing an assortment of new features and fixes.

From the release post:

Key Features
  • Support for vertical text in GDIPlus.
  • Unicode character tables updated to Unicode 18.0.0.
  • Caching for DNS queries.
  • Improvements to the VBScript parser.
  • Various bug fixes.

If you scroll through the release post for all the info, it does also note a big one not mentioned in the highlights with "winewayland: Implement color management protocol for Vulkan color space" - nice to see Wine Wayland continuing to mature as well.

As for bug fixes there's issues solved for the likes of Zombie Army 4: Dead War, Evolution: The Game of Intelligent Life, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge, Final Fantasy XI Online and more.

That sound like a silver to gold/platinum patch.
Great news.
That means less work for the launchers and tweaks people.
