Can't get enough sims? Game Dev Studio from Roman Glebenkov officially supports Linux now with the 23rd update released yesterday.

Back in October, the developer added in preliminary support for Linux although it wasn't advertised while they finished it up. As promised, it's here and it does look pretty good. Players on Steam seem to like it too, it's rated "Very Positive" so it's a reasonable indicator of a good game.

Now you too can make people work million-hour weeks with no overtime pay! Shots fired at the software industry aside, Game Dev Studio offers a little more depth over other sims of this sort.

With non-linear progression, build game engines as well as the games, various forms of advertisement you can do, buy-out your competitors when they're not doing so well, expand into new buildings and more. If that doesn't sound like enough, it has a campaign mode, a freeplay mode, multiple extra campaigns and ways to adjust the experience to your liking.

You can find Game Dev Studio on Steam.
