Snakeybus looks like an absolute riot, the kind of game where you likely smile and laugh all the way through and it's coming to Linux.

It has a simple yet highly amusing idea, you're a bus driver but not of the usual sort. You pick up as many passengers as you can, with your bus constantly growing in size. Since you grow to ridiculous levels, you will need to "Play smart and avoid crashing into yourself!" which made me laugh. Have a good chuckle at the trailer below:

I saw it pop up on Twitter earlier and doing my usual thing, I went to ask about Linux support for a game I thought looked interesting. Someone beat me to it and the developer replied to say "we will release a Linux build as an update following launch. sorry for the wait!"—great!

Features:

  • 6 Core Maps with Unique Themes
  • 5 Different Types of Buses
  • Endless Play Mode
  • Player Progression with unlockable Maps and Buses
  • Personal & Global Leaderboards

You can follow it along on Steam. It looks so amusing I will absolutely be taking a look when the Linux version is ready, love the idea!

The gameplay is a bit unclear, but it does look properly silly!

I've always wanted to play first-person nibbles.
