You too can now get in on the Radical Summer event fun, as Psyonix have opened the floodgates since Rocket League is now free to play until Monday.

If you missed it, Rocket League turned four a few days ago and all of this is going on whilst they have a huge in-game event going on with a time-limited Spike Rush game mode I showed off before. You can see a little of this time-limited mode below:

I've said it many times before and I will say it once again: I absolutely adore Rocket League! It's my #1 game and nothing has come close to knocking it down from that top spot. I play it all the time, with hundreds of hours. It really is something special but it takes quite a long time to get properly good at it. When I'm not feeling particularly competitive or I'm super tired, jumping into some of the additional game modes is always a blast.

If you decide you enjoy it, the game is 50% off on Steam too until July 15th. So you've got until Monday at 5PM UTC to try for free, then until the 15th to pick it up cheaper. Very nice! They did say anything you earn during the free time, will carry over into the full game if you pick it up.
