Running from now until August 12, Rocket League's final phase of the Radical Summer event is focusing on '80s television. This includes a new DLC pack along with a new game mode.

The new DLC available is the Knight Rider Car Pack DLC which includes the iconic K.I.T.T. 2000 car as well as K.I.T.T. Wheels, Steering Wheel Topper, and Player Banner.

The Event Store has also been refreshed to include new items. This special event store, where you can spend your Cassettes earned by playing the game will open for a last chance redemption period after the final phase is over, allowing to spend all your Cassettes in any of the three event stores until August 19th in case you missed any.

On top of that, the new limited-time Beach Ball Mode is live. In this mode, it has a larger ball with low gravity and the "Curveball" mutator activated. It's not like actual beach volleyball though, as Psyonix said previously on Reddit they did try it but "it wasn't very fun". As I did with the previous event, here's a look at it with the K.I.T.T. 2000 car:

Quite a fun mode, the low gravity spices it up nicely! The ball is never where I think it's going to be so I end up missing it a lot when not timing things right. Challenging and fun, exactly what I like to see in Rocket League.

It's those mirror-universe people, always so moody.
