Baba Is You gets a level editor in a free update this month

By - | Views: 11,346

Baba Is You, one of my most favourite puzzle games ever, is set to finally see the big level editor update on November 17 as a free upgrade for all owners.

An incredibly clever game where you push blocks around to combine them into phrases, which make up the rules of each level. So you can push "Baba" into the blocks "is" and "wall" and you will turn into all the walls - or something like that. There's absolutely loads of brilliant mechanics. Anyway, for the new update it brings with it:

  • Level editor
  • Online level-sharing
  • A curated Featured Levels list
  • 150+ new puzzles in 2 level-packs
  • & more!

Check out the new trailer:

The level editor has been available in a Beta for ages now, with Mathias Kærlev of MP2 Games (who does the ports) mentioning it's seen over 6,000 levels uploaded during the Beta. Some of them completely seem to change the game too, can't wait!

Available to buy from Humble Store, itch.io and Steam.

So excited for this!! I translated this game to Norwegian, so if any Norwegian speakers happen to pass by here, give it a shot! :)
