Selaco will let you turn a vacuum cleaner into a deadly killing machine

By - | Views: 12,426

My excitement over Selaco grows with each little teaser we're shown and now you can weaponize a vacuum cleaner? Damn. Selaco is an upcoming first-person shooter developed with the free and open source GZDoom game engine, the one that powers a ton of Doom mods and total conversions.

Speaking about the teaser the developer said: "There are hundreds of different ways to take care of enemies without having to fire a single shot, which can be discovered through experimentation. One such way is to detach the Turret of a Sentry Gun and attach it to a Roomba instead!"

Check out their new teaser below:

This is quickly becoming my most anticipated game. Every update looks like so much fun and the devs are clearly putting alot of love and attention into this.

WANT. I love games that offer this kind of flexibility, even though I'm unlikely to, you know, actually not just run and gun my way through every level. Selaco looks incredible.

I'm just excited there still are new single player FPS to be excited about!

Also, they totally need to add some effects to have the Roomba smear blood all over the floor when its done killing - to make it officially dope!

I really like the retro late 90s system shock 2 feel of this game. I'm really excited to play when it's ready -- hopefully the Linux version will come out at the same time as that's the only way I play, plus (soon) Steam Deck.

How has the military not yet come up with a weaponized Roomba? It makes more sense than anyone would like to admit.
