Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is an absolutely fantastic beat 'em up throwback and now perhaps even better, with a big stability update out now!
With this update they've been focusing on making the core game feel better, with lots of niggles being fixed up. For the Steam Deck, they also added in Deck-specific input glyphs as a nice cosmetic tweak. The online play also had two additions with a message to tell you if you're kicked, and not letting people play mismatched versions to prevent problems.
As for fixes, there's loads actually and the online play received the most with many fixes to client-side issues with things not happening as they should, like lag during boss fights sometimes just breaking it entirely or game clients ignoring enemy grab cancellation and lots of little improvements like that. Online play also has better detection of when all players are ready, better transitions between stages and more.
Performance should be improved too as they're now preloading all enemies, Dizzy players are no longer invincible and in story mode pressing continue no longer forces you through how to play. Some players noticed audio issues too, which should be solved!
Available to buy on Steam.
