Steam Deck gets a small bug-fix Client Beta out now

Valve has released another Client Beta for the Steam Deck which is now available for testing, mostly just fixing up issues. To try it yourself you need to be in either the Beta or Preview channels available in Settings > System > Steam Update Channel.

Here's what's changed:

General

  • Fixed some cases where cloud sync would be attempted while offline
  • Virtual menu previews in the Configurator how highlight the appropriate button when navigating to its associated command in the command list
  • Fixed scaling of the virtual hotbar menu preview in the Configurator

Resolution: applies to Preview Channel only

  • Fixed a case where the resolution selection dropdown would disappear
  • Fixed a case where changing resolutions could cause a crash
  • Fixed the resolution dropdown sometimes showing an incorrect current resolution
