Salt and Sanctuary gets Cloud Saves and OSK support for Steam Deck

By - | Views: 16,520

Salt and Sanctuary has seen an update recently which brings with it Cloud Saves, along with better Steam Deck support. The update initially landed for the Windows version, but it has now been put into the Linux and macOS versions too.

Version 1.0.0.9 brings with it

  • Cloud Saves.
  • Bigger inventory size.
  • Quite a few bug fixes.
  • Various gameplay improvements and co-op updates.
  • Support for automatically bringing up the Steam Deck on-screen keyboard.

Cloud Saves being the most important thing here, since now you can nicely switch between a PC and a Steam Deck, and continue your game from where you left it. Hopefully we will see more developers go back and add that into their games for a better player experience.

You can buy it on Humble Store and Steam.

This is a great game. Metroidvania souls-like.

It seems this update has something to do with the fact that it recently got rated as Unsupported. It's nice to see developers update their games to be compatible with Steam Deck.
