Halls of Torment hits over 70K sales in the first week

By - | Views: 17,885

Here's a nice little indie success story for you! Halls of Torment from Chasing Carrots launched on May 24th into Early Access with Native Linux support and it works great on Steam Deck. They've announced that their launch week was pretty great!

Writing on Twitter one of their team mentioned that they've had over 70,000 sales, 22,000 daily active users (with around 1,390 of those on Steam Deck) and over 29% of people played it over 10 hours. Great to see that even with so many games releasing on Steam all the time, with nearly 7,000 already this year, that we can see such a success so early for smaller games like this.

I also purchased the game. Really fun game! There are some glitches and wonky mechanics, but I think they will get it all worked out.
